How to Scan a Whiteboard with Your iPhone
Stand off to one side of the glare, frame all four corners of the board, and capture with PDF Scanner in Document mode — then use perspective fix to square the board back into a rectangle and raise contrast so pale marker reads. Move until the glare moves off the writing
A whiteboard reflects the ceiling lights and the windows. Take one step left or right and watch the bright patch slide across the board. Shoot from the position where the reflection sits on empty board rather than on the notes.

Include all four corners
Perspective correction needs the full rectangle to work with. If a corner is cut off, the app has nothing to square against and the finished scan stays skewed.

Capture from an angle if you have to
Standing off-axis to dodge glare is fine. A moderate angle is recoverable — a blown-out white patch across the middle of the writing is not.

Square the board with perspective fix
Drag the crop corners onto the board's own frame. The trapezoid straightens into a rectangle and the writing stops leaning.

Lift the marker with contrast
Yellow, light green and orange markers photograph much weaker than black or blue. Raise contrast until the faint colors separate from the white background; stop before dry-erase ghosting from previous sessions starts to show through.
